The Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs serves Veterans and their families by opening doors to benefits, education, and jobs, while advocating for Utah’s military bases and service members. The UDVMA offers a variety of services to assist Veterans in obtaining the benefits they may be eligible for because of their military service. We also provide counseling and assistance to Veterans and their dependents with the VA claims process, establishing Veterans’ rights to state and federal benefits, and providing other information and advisory services.

Veterans of the United States armed forces who reside in the state of Utah may be eligible for a broad range of federal and state benefits and services.

These benefits and services were created to assist Veterans and their families with the transition back into civilian life by addressing some key areas. In those cases where veterans have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms, there are also benefits and services to assist the families and to provide for the dignified care of their loved one.

The following categories are just some of the types of benefits and Services available for Veterans:

  • VA Benefits Claims Assistance
