North Sevier Senior Center

Senior Center Services include resources such as Information & Referral, Outreach, Assessment Screening, Legal and Supportive Services, Transportation for medical appointments and necessary shopping to keep seniors in their home, Health Insurance Information Program (Medicare Drug plans and other Medicare information), Health Fairs, Advocacy, Elder Abuse, Awareness, Preventive Health Programs and other Services. Eligibility is for those 60 years of age and older and their spouses (regardless of age). All services are by donation only. No fees can be assessed to any service that is supplemented with Federal funds from the Older Americans Act.

Activities include:

  • Bingo is held every 2nd Thursday of the month
  • Lunch is served to Seniors 60 and over every Monday through Thursday for a donation of $2.50 per meal
  • Low impact exercise is held every Tuesday and Thursday for $2.00 per person or you may obtain a monthly pass
  • We have senior transportation that can take seniors to Richfield for shopping, medical appointments, etc.
  • The senior center has quilters who will hand quilt or tie quilts. Call the center for prices or for information about joining the quilters.
  • There is a community dance held the 2nd and 4th Friday nights at the Community Center. Entrance is $3.00 per person.
